The school runs an outstanding array of extra-curricular activities on each weekday evening. Activities are run by both teaching staff and specialist external coaches. Activities are offered to the very youngest boys in Nursery all the way up to our oldest Year 8 boys.

Current Activities include; Radio club, Rowing, Rock Climbing, SCUBA diving, water polo, fencing, soccer, athletics, polo, mind games, art, orchestra, Chapel Choir, Junior Choir, tennis, news board, golf, archery, outdoor art, dance, St Rupert’s (Outreach programme – Years 7 & 8), Mad Science, Mosaics and many more besides….

The Extra-Curricular activities programme is an extremely important aspect of the educational experience at StJohn's. Boys are able to choose from a wide variety of options and are actively encouraged to choose new and challenging activities as well as those which they enjoy and in which they already excel.
