Extra Curricular activities
The school runs an outstanding array of extra-curricular activities on each weekday evening. Activities are run by both teaching staff and specialist external coaches and are offered to the very youngest boys in Nursery all the way up to our oldest Year 8 boys.
Current Activities include; Radio club, Film Making Club, Rowing, Rock Climbing, SCUBA diving, water polo, football, ball skills, fencing, soccer, athletics, polo, Mind Challenge, art, orchestra, Chapel Choir, Junior Choir, music theory, music composition, tennis, news board, golf, archery, dance, animation, St Rupert’s (Outreach programme – Years 7 & 8), Mad Science, Drama.
The Extra-Curricular activities programme is an extremely important aspect of the educational we provide at St John's. Boys are able to choose from a wide variety of options and are actively encouraged to choose new and challenging activities as well as those which they enjoy and in which they already excel.
