Assessment
The school makes every effort not to over assess our pupils but regular assessment is nevertheless essential to ensure that each boy is making the expected level of progress.
Class work is assessed using a combination of formative and summative assessment that provides each boy with points for reflection and ways in which future work can be improved.
The school uses external moderating agencies to assess the progress of each pupil. These tests include CAT III, PIPs and 'MidYIS' tests.
