The Pre-Prep (Nicholas Owen Block)
The Pre Prep department operates in a modern, purpose built building called The Nicholas Owen Block on the main school site. Each classroom is fitted with the latest technology including Smartboards and computers and provides a safe and stimulating environment for each boy. Classes are small (maximum of 18 boys) and cater for boys of all abilities. Each class has a class teacher and classroom assistant. The Pre Prep department is very much part of the whole school: all boys have access to all the facilities of the Upper School and there is integration with teaching staff and older boys on a daily basis.
The department has six classes: Blandyke 4M (Nursery), Blandyke 4S (Reception), Blandyke 5(1) and 5(2) (Year One) and Berchmans 1 and 2 (Year Two).
