The Nursery (Blandye 4M)
Boys in Blandyke 4 follow the Foundation Stage Programme of study as well as ‘extras’ such as weekly Swimming, Drama, ICT and Music. A typical day in Blandyke 4 is very busy with a full curriculum which encourages indivdual academic progress as well as allowing time for play and social development.
A typical day in Nursery:
8.40 Welcome by class teacher in classrooms, a learning activity and registration
9.00 Assembly with all boys in Nicholas Owen Block in Main School Playroom
9.25 Numeracy or Literacy lesson
10.20 BREAK (playground and activity playground)
10.40 Numeracy or Literacy lesson
11.15 Swimming / PE lesson
12.00 LUNCH and BREAK
1.00 Creative Development (Incl Music / Art)
2.00 Knowledge and Understanding of the World
2.45 Story
