Preparatory (7-13 years)

 

In the Middle and Upper Schools, Years 3 to 8, our boys engage in a full curriculum including modern foreign languages, Latin, Art, and Computer aided design, ICT and from September 2009 a full programme of Physical education in our newly built sports centre.

 

Our extra curricular programme plays an integral part in the educational experience of our boys. With over 50 different activities on offer from Rock Climbing to Fly Fishing and Philosophy to SCUBA diving our aim is to provide for a wide range of experiences that will support our boys’ academic, personal and spiritual development.

 

Our distinctive ‘Magis’ programme introduces boys to topics that are outside many curriculae. With visiting experts talking on topics as diverse as Polar exploration, , The Economy , the constitutional life of Great Britain, Space exploration, Parliment, the British Army and many more besides – our boys are encouraged to explore the context of the world in which they live and therefore the subjects that they study.
