St Johns Beaumont Crest

The Dermot Gogarty Memorial Fund

The Dermot Gogarty Memorial Fund was set up in March 2007 in Memory of Dermot Gogarty, (Headmaster of St John’s 1987 – 2005). A truly inspirational character, much of Dermot’s energy was spent working tirelessly for Social Justice and this fund aims to provide financial support for current and ex-pupils of St John’s to undertake projects that will improve the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves.

Projects that have involved current St John's pupils have included ‘Outreach’ weeks with pupils of St Anselm’s School in Southall, London and Holyport Manor School in Holyport, Berkshire. It is planned that these and other projects will be extended in future years.

It is hoped that past pupils of St John’s will help to support this fund by contributing to the ‘Outreach’ work around the world.

If you would like to make a donation to the fund, please contact the Bursar of St John’s Mr T. Blad at bursar@stjohnsbeaumont.co.uk.
